Isle of Man Government

Chief Minister Allan Bell MHK has today (Friday 7 March) announced the appointment of Members to the Departments of Government as agreed by the Council of Ministers.

The appointments come into effect from Monday 10 March.

The Council of Ministers has also agreed other political appointments, including the chairmanships and vice-chairmanships of the Statutory Boards, which are subject to approval at the March sitting of Tynwald.

The Chief Minister said:

‘We are preparing to enter an important new era for the Isle of Man Government, with the streamlined departmental structure coming into force on 1 April. I am sure that Members will seize this opportunity to make a positive contribution for the good of the Isle of Man and its people.’
