Our services
We provide a holistic assessment and client centred individual therapy approach to managing the symptoms of ME/CFS and Long COVID where other medical causes have been ruled out.
How to be referred into the service
Referrals to the service are via your GP.
Please see this video developed with ME Support IOM for what to expect from the service.
What happens after you have been referred
Once we receive a referral from your GP you will get a confirmation letter from the service acknowledging that you have been referred. On a monthly basis the team will review some of the referrals (there is currently a waiting list but these will be dealt with in date order from when the referral was received).
Once the referral has been reviewed you will receive a written acknowledgment from the service. If you are being invited for an initial assessment you will receive the service welcome booklet that provides information about the team and the service we are able to offer. If we require further information or investigations to be completed you will also be informed of this. If you do not receive notification that you have been referred, please do not hesitate to contact us on +44 1624 650688 to check or please contact your GP surgery to confirm the referral has been sent.
