Hillside Dental Practice
Hillside Dental Practice is a Community/Salaried Dental Service provided by Manx Care.
The practice is situated in the heart of Douglas behind the Old Nobles Hospital Site (Westmoreland Road), has patient parking facilities outside which includes disabled parking spaces near to the practice entrance. The practice is situated on the ground floor, with no steps and is accessible for wheelchair users and patients who may have mobility issues.

Opening Hours
Monday to Thursday: 8:15am to 5pm
Friday: 8:30am to 1pm
Weekends and Bank Holidays: Closed
Please note that the practice closes each working day between 1pm and 1:30pm for lunch.
The practice does not provide private dental treatment.
Emergency Dental Care – out of hours
When the practice is closed during weekends and bank holidays, patients can access the Emergency Dental Service. The service is available between 9am to 11pm weekends and bank holidays. Friends and Family Survey
Manx Care provides a friends and family survey. We would be grateful of any feedback you have in relation to our practice. This survey is anonymous and can be completed after each visit to your dental practice. To fill out a survey please visit the manx Care survey page.
Concerns and Complaints
If you have a concern or a complaint in relation to the services we provide, you can raise these verbally, via telephone or in writing.
What should you do if you are unable to attend an appointment?
Please contact the practice directly either by phone 642389 or via email Hillsidedental@gov.im to let us know if you are unable to attend your appointment 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time.
We appreciate that there may be certain circumstances whereby this is not possible.
Please note that our practice has a policy in relation to short notice cancellations and failed appointments. Numerous failed appointments and short notice cancellations may result in you being removed from our patient list.
Aggressive and Violent Patients
The practice has a zero tolerance in relation to violent, aggressive or abusive patients. Patients who behave in this manner will be removed from the patient list and requested to find an alternative practice for their dental care.

You can also raise queries or request to join the dental allocation list by contacting primary care services via email dental@gov.im or phone +44 1624 642694. The Primary Care team will also be able to answer any queries you may have in relation to exemptions from payment for NHS dental treatment.
