Title | Proposed Update to the Lower Douglas Master Plan relating to Lord Street – September 2013 |
Description | We live in rapidly changing times, following a number of changes to the situation of the Lord Street site. The Department is consulting on a number of minor updates to the ‘Lower Douglas Master Plan – Interim Planning Guidance for Key Town Centre Sites in Douglas’ which was originally published in October 2012. Currently Lord Street is the location of a number of bus stops which provide opportunities for bus transfer connections as well as serving the needs of users of the town centre. Therefore the consultation is also seeking views about: When considering the redevelopment of the Lord Street site should consideration be given to incorporating appropriate bus interchange facilities to serve the needs of Central Douglas? This consultation begins on 16th September 2013, lasting for 6 weeks and will close on 28th October 2013. We would encourage the submission of clear and concise responses via the online questionnaire. |
