Our Divisions

The Department of Transport has eight divisions:

Properties Division

This Division is responsible for managing, maintaining and developing the Department’s properties to meet user requirements.

This Division has four sections:

• Estates Management
• Maintenance
• Animal Waste Management
• Off Street Parking

Management Services Division

This Division provides strategic leadership of the Department and support to the Minister through the Office of the Chief Executive.

This Division has six sections:

• Strategic Planning and Governance
• Financial Management
• HR and Corporate Services
• IT
• Health and Safety
• Legislation.

Design Services Division

This Division provides civil engineering design and consultancy services to the Department on a preferred client/service provider basis.

It also provides project management, planning supervision and contract administration services to other Divisions.

This Division has three sections:

• Highways Design
• Structural Design
• Surveying
