| Description | At the June 2007 sitting of Tynwald it was resolved that a Select Committee be established to examine various issues with respect to the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company. The Committee reported in November 2008 and amongst the recommendations approved by Tynwald was that the Department of Transport (now the Department of Infrastructure) establishes a consultative group to which members of the public may refer all matters of travel and complaint. The draft Terms of Reference (attached below) for the recommended consultative group were approved by the Department of Transport and following Government restructuring also by the Department of Infrastructure.
