This news release is issued to publicise the launch of the redesigned VAT pages of the Customs and Excise website.
The updated website pages feature a new layout, ensuring easy navigation and efficient access to essential information, forms and notices.
The main VAT landing page is home to five sub-pages namely, Correcting a VAT Return Error, De-registering for VAT, DIY Housebuilders Scheme, Land and Property, Registering for VAT.
Additionally, a new Compliance, Powers and Appeals page has been introduced which is home to the compliance factsheets and the notices of appeals and powers for Customs and Immigration.
The Payments page has been updated to include information on interest rates and the BACS 1 form to update or change bank details.
The Online Services page has also been updated to include a sub-page for VAT Agents.
The development of the webpages is aimed at improving accessibility for Isle of Man businesses as well as the public and the Treasury invites the public to explore the redesigned pages.
