Areas likely to be affected

Adverse conditions are expected to affect the Island

From 06:00 BST on Monday 04 August 2025

Until 06:00 BST on Tuesday 05 August 2025

South-southwest winds will strengthen overnight into Monday, before veering westerly early afternoon then gradually easing overnight into Tuesday.

Gusts of between 40 and 50 miles per hour are likely – while this is not unusual for the Isle of Man, it is unseasonably strong and some damage is likely particularly to trees as they are still in full leaf. Any lightweight summer structures (tents etc) could also be damaged.

A spell of rain is expected on Monday morning, heavy for a time, but this is not expected to cause any significant issues.
