An area of rain will move in from the west on Saturday evening, falling as sleet or snow over higher ground, before starting to turn back to rain later in the night. Accumulations are expected to be 1-5 cm above around 500ft, with the risk of up to 10 cm on the highest hills, and only temporary slushy accumulations at lower levels.
As the front clears through, milder air is introduced, raising the snow level.
