Gale or severe gale force southwest winds will develop overnight, with gusts of 50-60 mph possible, and isolated gusts of up to 65 mph on higher ground and exposed coastal areas. This may result in fallen branches/ trees and disruption to travel. The wind then veers west-southwest and eases through Thursday afternoon.
