Colour code

Amber

Areas likely to be affected

Exposed coasts.

Adverse conditions are expected to affect the Island

From 10:30 GMT on Tuesday 03 February 2026

Until 14:30 GMT on Tuesday 03 February 2026

Strong easterly winds will combine with a quite big tide tomorrow (high tide approx. 12:24), resulting in significant overtopping of waves at a few locations around the island. Debris will be brought ashore.

The whole of Douglas promenade will be particularly susceptible, but also Laxey and Ramsey proms and one or two other locations (possibly the western parts of Castletown prom and Shore Road).

(The tide at its very highest will be close to the top of some of the most prone harbours/ quaysides, but no notable flooding is expected in these places).
