A few showers at first tonight which will then clear to become dry for the rest of the night, fresh to strong northerly winds bringing colder air with the risk of ice developing in places sheltered from the wind. Lowest temperatures minus 1°C in sheltered spots.
A cold start tomorrow, icy in places particularly over high ground, but otherwise largely dry with sunny spells as any wintry showers are likely to remain offshore to the west and south of the island. Top temperature 6°C but feeling much colder in strong northerly winds.

Cold start on Thursday with some icy patches but otherwise dry and sunny. Fresh to strong northerly wind will only slowly decrease later, highest temperature 7°C.
