Mostly dry but cloudy at first tonight, then a few showers may develop later in the night, as the moderate or fresh northeast wind backs to the north or northwest. Minimum temperature around 3 or 4°C in most places, but near 1°C on the highest hills with a risk of icy patches.
Mostly cloudy tomorrow with scattered showers, but these chiefly in the west and south of the island, and falling as sleet over the hills. A mainly moderate north-northwest wind, with temperatures reaching 5 or 6°C at best. There could be a touch of frost in places later tomorrow evening, but temperatures should recover overnight.
Outlook
Showers to start Saturday morning, becoming mostly dry and bright with sunny intervals in the afternoon. Temperatures rising to around 6°C with a mainly light southerly wind, which will freshen later and then become strong overnight with rain by Sunday morning.
