Detailed forecast
Rain and drizzle at first will mostly die out this morning, allowing some brightness to develop over northern and western parts. However, central and southern areas will stay cloudy and rather misty, with a few outbreaks of light drizzle remaining over the hills, and then a little light rain may develop more widely for a time later in the afternoon. Fresh southerly winds, with temperatures reaching 17°C in the north, then during the evening all parts of the island will become bright with late sunshine.
Dry tonight, then dry for much of tomorrow with warm sunny spells in places, especially in the north, but always a risk of mist and low cloud around central and southern coasts and hills.
Outlook
A largely fine and dry weekend, with decent spells of sunshine and temperatures in the high teens. However, mist may affect some coasts at times.
