Clear at first tonight, then a chance of a few showers towards the end of the night, potentially heavy and with a small risk of thunder, although most of these should remain to the east of the island.
Any showers at first tomorrow morning will soon die out, allowing sunny spells to develop. However, mist and low cloud is likely to develop at times from late morning onwards around central and southern parts and over much of the hills. Still warm in places, the maximum temperature 24°C in the north, with the light winds gradually increasing fresh to strong from the south.
Outlook
Temperatures will return close to average over the weekend, in the high teens, and some light rain is likely late Saturday or overnight into Sunday.
Otherwise though, there will still be periods of sunshine.
