Mainly dry and cloudy to start, then a few showers arriving that may be wintry over the hills initially before turning back to rain later in the night. Light winds settling to a fresh to strong westerly by the end of the night, minimum temperature 3°C but temperatures rising later.
Largely cloudy tomorrow with showery outbreaks of rain, this then clearing overnight into Wednesday. Fresh to strong westerly wind and a top temperature of 10°C.

A cold and potentially icy start to Wednesday, especially upland areas, but otherwise largely dry with sunny spells as any wintry showers are likely to remain offshore to the west. Highest temperature 7°C but feeling much colder in strong northerly winds.
