Dry for much of the night but with cloud thickening to bring rain towards dawn. The wind will freshen from the south or southeast with the rain while temperatures, falling to 11 Celsius at first, will rise a few degrees later.
A spell of heavy rain on Wednesday morning with hill fog, the brisk south or southeast wind turning south or southwest. The wet weather will clear by around late morning, though, a drier and brighter afternoon with some sunshine following; a few showers may crop up later, however. The winds will become moderate to fresh from the west or southwest with temperatures up to 20 Celsius away from windward coasts.
Bright intervals on Thursday, with some sunshine but the moderate to fresh, locally strong south-westerly breeze is likely to bring one or two showers; highest temperature 19 Celsius.
