A dull start with occasional outbreaks of rain this morning. Low cloud and fog on the hills, with patches affecting southern and eastern parts of the island at times through the morning. The afternoon and evening will then become generally drier and brighter, although with a high likelihood a few scattered showers migrating from Ireland, especially towards the evening. Light to moderate west or southwest wind, top temperature 17°C.
Outlook
Outbreaks of rain will arrive early on Wednesday morning, possibly heavy at times, before largely clearing away in the afternoon to become brighter with sunny intervals, but still with the risk of scattered showers for the rest of the day. Moderate to fresh west or southwest wind soon backing south or southwest and strengthening, highest temperature 16°C.
Cloudy on Thursday with scattered showers potentially merging into longer spells of rain at times, which only clear overnight into Friday. Moderate to fresh southwest winds and temperatures of 15°C.
