There is still an opportunity for people to have their say on the Isle of Man Government’s draft Freedom of Information (FOI) Bill.

Public consultation on an FOI law for the Island started on 10 February and will conclude on Friday 4 April after being extended by two weeks to allow more time for consideration of the draft Bill.

The consultation document is available online at http://tinyurl.com/ohle7dc and paper copies can be obtained from the Chief Secretary’s Office, Government Office, Bucks Road, Douglas.

Further background information is provided in a frequently asked questions document and there is also an interactive feedback form for online submissions.
