This news release is issued in respect of the restrictive measures directed against certain persons and entities in view of the situation in Syria.
The entry has been annulled against Mazen AL-TABBA.

On 25 August 2014, a Judgment of the General Court of the European Union of 9 July 2014 in regard to Al-Tabbaa v Council (Cases T-329/12 and T-74/13) ("the Judgment") was published in the Official Journal of the European Union .

The Judgment was not appealed with 2 months and 10 days and so it has now come into force.
As a consequence of the Judgment, Mazen AL-TABBA is no longer subject to the asset freeze imposed by Council Regulation (EU) 410/2012.
