Trading

There is presently very little trading within the Isle of Man Government site.  Generally a specific policy will be included within a Departmental Site’s Terms and Conditions where applicable.

Electronic Transactions

If you send us a communication electronically, we will generally acknowledge it within 3 working days.  If we do not, please contact us again.  Since transmission by email is a reliable but not an infallible means of communication, proof of transmission should not be taken as proof of receipt.  If you send us information when you are within the secure part of the site (which will normally be indicated to you by a security lock symbol if you are using a Microsoft operating system) you may treat that information as having been validly given to us when it comes to our attention.

Re-Using Crown Copyright material

You may use and re-use the information featured on this website (not including logos or maps) free of charge in any format or medium, under the terms of the Open Government License.

Re-use of third party material

Any material on this site which is identified as the copyright of a third party is not covered by Crown copyright.  This is the case with some photographs please see the Open Government License "Exemptions" for clarity.  Authorisation to reproduce such material must be obtained from the copyright holders concerned.
