On 8 August 2014, the following measures came into effect:
European Union (Sudan Sanctions) Order 2014
This Order applied in Island law Council Regulation (EU) No 747/2014. This Order revoked and replaced earlier orders that applied EU sanctions measures in respect of Sudan.
Sudan Sanctions Regulations 2014
These Regulations provide for offences and penalties in connection with contravention of Council Regulation (EU) No 747/2014, and for the Treasury to issue licences in respect of certain permitted activities.
European Union (South Sudan Sanctions) Order 2014
This Order applied in Island law Council Regulation (EU) No 748/2014. This Order revoked and replaced earlier orders that applied EU sanctions measures in respect of South Sudan.
South Sudan Sanctions Regulations 2014
These Regulations provide for offences and penalties in connection with contravention of Council Regulation (EU) No 748/2014, and for the Treasury to issue licences in respect of certain permitted activities.
