Register of Judgments

This file provides information about judgments made administratively as opposed to a court hearing in respect of claims issued between 1998 up to and including 28 August 2009. The following information is included:

  • Names and addresses of the judgment creditor(s) and judgment debtor(s)
  • Amount of judgment inclusive of costs
  • Date of judgment; and
  • Present status of judgment and it's debt (e.g. issued, paid etc.)

Updates to this file are very rare due to the age of the claims.

The last update applied to the Register of Judgments 1998 - 2009 was 29 January 2016.

From Friday 15 July 2016, should an update be applied to the Register of Judgments 1998 - 2009, notification of the date of the change will be published here.

All judgments for claims filed after 1 September 2009 are recorded on the 'Register of Judgments' (Rule 12.6) which is available to view in electronic format at the Public Counter/Court Office of the Courts of Justice building.

New Claims (Court Entry books)

The following files contain basic information about new claims issued out of the Court Office from 1996 up to and including 28 August 2009. The lists are simply indicative of a new claim being filed and as a result are not indicative of case outcomes. Also included are the lists of claims in respect of Liquidations and Bankruptcies for the periods stated below.

The above files were last updated on 28 August 2009.

All claims filed after 1 September 2009 are recorded in the 'Register of Claims' (Rule 12.6) which is available for viewing on the computer either at the Public Counter/Court Office of the Courts of Justice building or in the Deeds Registry within the Registries building.

Publicly available judgments delivered by the Isle of Man Courts of Justice are available at www.judgments.im.
