MMO (UK) Licences issued by DEFA

DEFA issues British sea fishing licence to vessels registered in the Isle of Man on behalf of the Marine Management Organisation (MMO). These licences authorise Manx-registered fishing vessels to undertake fishing operations in UK waters.

The Department will use its best endeavours to send you an alert notification to your nominated email address or phone number if the MMO licence is varied. Within this notification there will be a link to take you directly to this website.

Such notifications will not inform you of specific details but rather that a variation has been made.

It remains the responsibility of the owner and master to ensure that they are aware of the most up to date information and that the MMO Licence, Conditions, Schedule and Annexe are kept up to date. You can find downloadable versions of these documents below.
