Frequent and heavy showers at first tonight, these becoming more scattered as the night goes on, although turning wintry later. Strong west or northwest winds, touching gale force in a few places later in the night, with lowest temperatures about 3°C.

A blustery day tomorrow, with the strong northwest winds only beginning to ease towards dusk. Otherwise, it will be a bright day with sunshine and scattered wintry showers, and feeling cold with the maximum temperature only 7°C.
