Overcast and damp at first today with a few outbreaks of rain and drizzle as well as widespread hill fog and coastal mist. However, improving markedly from later in the morning through the afternoon, with dry conditions as some sunny intervals develop too. Moderate southerly winds, veering south or southwest and becoming fresh in places later, the top temperature 19°C.
Dry tonight, then sunny intervals and scattered showers tomorrow, possibly a longer spell of rain later. Becoming windy with strong westerly winds giving gusts of 40 mph in places.
