East or southeast 4 or 5, but 5 or 6 for a time in eastern waters and across the north of the Isle of Man into the North Channel at first this afternoon, decreasing southerly 3 or 4 in all waters early tonight. Veering mainly west or southwest tomorrow morning but falling variable in places.

Slight or moderate, becoming smooth or slight tonight.
