Low pressure lies over Iceland tracking northeast and filling, as a new complex mid-Atlantic low tracks eastwards, driving associated frontal troughs into the Irish Sea later today & tonight.

Wind

South or southwest force 6 or 7, occasionally gale 8 this evening, increasing more generally 7 or gale 8 later tomorrow morning.

State of sea

Moderate becoming mainly rough this afternoon and occasionally very rough tonight, although remaining moderate to rough in the southeast of the area.

Weather

Fair, then occasional rain and drizzle arriving later this afternoon & evening. Becoming more widespread and persistent tomorrow.

Visibility

Good, becoming moderate or poor in rain and drizzle later.

South or southwest 7 or gale 8, perhaps occasionally touching severe gale 9 Sunday afternoon. Then becoming west or southwest 3 or 4 overnight into Monday.
