Programme for Government - policy overview 2016-2021
Q1 2017/18 Performance Report
This is the first quarterly performance report for Programme for Government, and we’re reporting on some of the indicators for the first time. Information for this period is presented in tables, although in future we will be able to publish graphs directly from our performance monitoring system.
In some cases, quarter 1 data also provides the baseline (ie the starting point we will measure our progress against). Other measures are still being developed, and we’ll be able to report on them for the first time in quarter 2.
We’re including qualitative as well as quantitative data, which means many of the indicators include results from large scale surveys conducted on the Island. This quarter we are able to report on the information provided by the Social Attitudes Survey. In quarter 2 we will be able to share information from the Health and Lifestyle survey, and in quarter 3 will be able to provide data from the Business Confidence Survey.
This report is the starting point for reporting on performance against Programme for Government. Q2 and Q3 will provide more data and provide a more complete picture.
Macro Level Indicators
There are six macro level indicators which will be monitored on an annual basis. These provide a performance snapshot of Government performance, and will be reported to Tynwald in October along with the annual review of the Programme for Government.
