Isle of Man Festival - Latest Update
The OFT understands that the company behind the festival, namely Rockingmann Festivals Limited (“the Company”), is no longer in a position to be able to carry on trading and that, as a consequence, a meeting of the creditors of the Company has been convened to provide them with details of the current financial position of the Company and to discuss the future of the Company.
Ticket holders who have not been refunded may already have been made aware of the meeting by email dated 12th September 2013. There was also a notice on page 53 of the Isle of Man Examiner dated 16th September 2013 and it is understood that the same notice will appear in the Manx Independent on 19th September 2013.
The meeting is to be held at the Colonnade Suite, Villa Marina, Harris Promenade, Douglas, Isle of Man, IM1 2HP on 24th September 2013 at 10.45 am.
Ticket holders who have not been refunded and who wish to register as a creditor should complete the forms attached to the email. The forms should be lodged with Shimmin Wilson & Co, Chartered Accountants of 13 - 15 Hope Street, Douglas, Isle of Man, IM1 1AQ no later than 4.00 pm on 23rd September 2013.
Ticket holders who have not received an email with the aforementioned forms attached or who are experiencing any difficulties in completing the forms should contact Mr Leonard Gerber at Shimmin Wilson & Co on tel. no. (01624) 627744.
It is fair to say at this stage that it is highly unlikely that ticket holders will be refunded even in part.
