Hot water bottles sold at Boots
There is a potential safety problem with Boots hot water bottles bought between October 2005 and January 2007.
The affected hot water bottles were all manufactured in 2005 and were coloured in cream, blue and red. There is a risk of the bottles splitting during use.
To check if you have one of the affected hot water bottles, look at the circle on the back of the neck of the bottle. If the number moulded in the inner circle is 05, stop using the bottle. Return the bottle to your nearest Boots store and you'll receive a replacement.
If your hot water bottle is inside a cover, you only need return the hot water bottle for an exchange as the cover isn't affected.

Toy dogs sold at Next
Anyone who has bought a Next Newborn Dog Toy (Item Number 999032) should return it immediately to a Next store for a full refund. The nose on the toy could become detached and this may present a possible choking hazard to young babies.
These recalls have been initiated by the retailers concerned and not by the Isle of Man Office of Fair Trading.
The Isle of Man Office of Fair Trading is helping the retailers disseminate this important information to protect local consumers, who may not always be aware of recall notices issued by major high street retailers.
