Bus vannin Service Update

bus vannin is in the process of reviewing its timetable in light of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and resultant school closures.

Tomorrow, Tuesday 23 March a Non School Service will be in operation, meaning anything on our timetables with Sch above will not operate.  

However, to provide a service for by children of key workers there will be three school buses: One bus covering the 19 and 20 routes around Jurby and Andreas, one bus covering the 31, 32 and 32A routes and one bus covering the 45 and 47 routes, further details on these routes can be found below.

A daily update will be made on any other changes

Timetable alterations in detail

Ramsey Grammar School

Services 16A and 58 will NOT operate

Service 19C and 20A WILL operate

Service 3B will NOT operate; any pupils wishing to travel from Old Laxey or Ballaragh will need to make their way to the main road in order to catch the service 3, due in Laxey at 0808. Service 44 will pick pupils up from Old Laxey (0745) and transport them to Ham & Egg Terrace for this purpose, if required.

Service 18K will operate as normal at 0622 hours.

QEII

Services 51 and 53 will NOT operate.

Service 6C will operate from Ramsey at 0805 hours, but NOT via Cronk Y Voddy, and instead via Knocksharry and Ballawattleworth Estate.

Service 5 will operate from Douglas at 0807 hours, and will operate around Ballagarey estate in Glen Vine.

Service 4 will operate the schoolday timings in both directions, i.e. 0808 from Niarbyl, and 0743 from Douglas.

Castle Rushen High School

There will be no dedicated school routes to this school (i.e. routes 60 to 66), only scheduled services on the south corridor (1/2/11/12) and route 14 will serve the school.

Ballakermeen High School

A combined 31/32/32A service, operating from Farm Hill (Stevenson Way roundabout) at 0820 hours.

A combined 45/47 service will depart Strang at 0741 hours and serve Ballakermeen AND BOTH SITES of St Ninians’ High School.

Service 44 will operate as normal, in the morning, but will begin from Ballakermeen in the afternoon.

All other dedicated school buses will NOT operate.

St Ninians High School

A combined 45/47 service will depart Strang at 0741 hours and serve Ballakermeen AND BOTH SITES of St Ninians’ High School.

Service 44 will operate as normal, in the morning, but will begin from Ballakermeen in the afternoon.
