Bus vannin Service Update

From 15 June 2020 bus vannin will be operating a special Summer 2020 timetable. This timetable will be in place until 7 September 2020.

Main changes:

• On the Service 1 group serving Onchan, Douglas and the South the 15 minute service frequency is restored
• Due to the one way system on Douglas Promenade a new Service 30 has been introduced, which will provide the most direct link between Central and Queens Promenades, Derby Castle, Port Jack and Royal Avenue to Lower Douglas every 15 minutes
• For those travelling from Hailwood Avenue, Willaston, Birch Hill and Central Onchan to the Promenades it will be necessary to travel to Victoria Street and change for a northbound promenade service which operates up to every 7½ minutes.  A transfer ticket should be requested on boarding to use the free onward connection.

Some school buses will resume on 22 June 2020. Further details will follow.
