Two surveys aiming to assess the economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic in the Isle of Man have been launched today.
The findings will be used to inform the Isle of Man Government’s ongoing response and economic strategy over the longer term.
The Coronavirus Business Survey will be emailed to all employers signed up to Online Services, and should be completed by a senior member of an organisation, such as a chief executive or managing director.
The Coronavirus Household Impact Survey is directed at all residents and is designed to gain an accurate picture of personal finances, how they have been affected and changes in spending patterns.
The surveys should take no longer than 20 minutes to complete and it’s hoped as many people as possible will take the time to provide the required information.
As similar surveys were previously run in early June, the latest versions will provide an important update in light of the relaxation of social distancing, the lifting of other restrictions and many sectors returning to economic activity.
Any information provided will be treated in the strictest confidence and will never be connected with any other records or identifying information.
The closing date is Wednesday 15 July.
