Applications invited for International Development Funding

Through its commitment to international development, Isle of Man Government provides support to the voluntary sector to raise awareness of global development issues throughout the Manx population. The Cabinet Office is inviting applications for an International Development Education, Awareness and Strategy Grant of £50,000.

Applications opened on Monday 10 August, closing on Sunday 6 September 2020.

The International Development Education, Awareness and Strategy Grant will be awarded to an Isle of Man registered organisation or partnership, to carry out a programme of activities that encompass the three main objectives of the scheme. Minister for Policy and Reform, Ray Harmer MHK said:

'I’m very pleased to announce details of this year’s grant funding stream.

'We appreciate the excellent work carried out across the developing world and, as a responsible Island, remain committed to playing our part through international development to help those less fortunate than ourselves. This specific grant will address the Government’s policy objective of raising awareness of global development issues throughout the Manx population'.
