This news release is issued to raise awareness of changes to EU sanctions measures in relation to Burma/Myanmar.
Annex IV to Council Regulation (EU) No 401/2013 has been amended with effect from 1 May 2019, following the publication of Council Implementing Regulation (EU) No 2019/672 in the EU Official Journal.

Financial institutions and other persons are requested to check whether they maintain any accounts or otherwise hold funds or economic resources for, or provide financial services to, the designated individuals.
