Any person or company currently storing property, equipment, materials or other articles in the above areas are requested to ensure that the items are either suitably labelled/marked or identified to the staff in the local harbour offices.
Any unclaimed or unidentified property, equipment, materials or other articles remaining in or around the compounds after the 1 May 2019 will be regarded as having been abandoned on Harbours property and will be disposed of under the provisions of the Harbours Act 2010.
If any article is destroyed or otherwise disposed of then the Department may recover reasonable costs incurred from anyone subsequently being found to have been responsible for it. Owners of such items are therefore urged to ensure that the items described are suitably identified to avoid loss.
