The Isle of Man Office of Fair Trading wants to make the public aware of an expanded safety notice which has been issued in relation to HP Notebook Computer Batteries.
The battery replacement program was expanded in January 2019. The affected products are listed as various models of the ProBook, ZBook, HP x360, Pavilion, Envy and HP 11.
Affected batteries may have also been purchased as accessories for various ProBook, ZBook, HP Envy 15 and Mobile Thin Clients.
Unless you have already received a replacement battery under the existing recall programme, it is essential to check the battery if you own one of the above models. This applies even if you have done so previously and been informed that the battery was not affected.

Check whether your notebook battery is affected on the HP website.
If your notebook battery is affected, you should cease using it immediately. HP will provide a replacement battery at no cost.
