Tuyet Ramzy has been appointed to the role of headteacher at Manor Park Primary School with effect from the 1 January 2020. Ms Ramzy will undertake a period of induction and shadowing with the current headteacher, Riss Forrester, from November before officially taking over the role in the new year.

Tuyet Ramzy said:

‘I’m very much looking forward to this opportunity and the move to the Isle of Man. This will be a new challenge, but one that I cannot wait to jump in to.

‘I believe that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually and socially. This is the atmosphere I will endeavor to create over my time at Manor Park, and I look forward to working closely with the students, parents, staff and the department to achieve this.’

Riss Forrester will be taking over the position as Deputy Head at Ballcottier Primary School from January 2020.
