The latest education session for Island GPs takes place on Tuesday 18 September 2018.
Routine GP appointments will not be available that afternoon, although surgeries will remain open as normal for patients to visit the practice nurse, collect test results, make future appointments and order repeat prescriptions.
Urgent appointments will be available with an on-call doctor and patients who need to be seen urgently should ring their GP practice.
The quarterly education sessions were established in 2012 to give GPs the opportunity to meet and discuss developments in medical care and best practice, and to examine ways to enhance care for patients in the Isle of Man.
