As part of All Digital Week, an annual Europe-wide campaign to focus on digital skills, the Cabinet Office will be hosting a series of public drop-in workshops later this month to highlight its new consultation hub.

The sessions will show people how to respond to public consultations and how to navigate the website. Officers will also be on hand to answer any questions people may have about the system, including:

  • What are consultations?
  • Why should I respond?
  • Using the online system
  • Myth busting the consultation process

Details for the sessions are:

Monday 19 March – Peel Library, 10am to 12pm
Tuesday 20 March – Douglas Library, 1pm to 3pm
Wednesday 21 March – Tynwald Library, 10am to 12:30pm
Friday 23 March – Ramsey Library, 10:30am to 1pm

Sessions are free and there is no need to book a slot – just call in.

Public engagement in policy development via consultations is vital. It improves the efficiency and transparency of Government and helps to shape our decisions and our future.

Members of the public are encouraged to take a look at the consultation site and sign up to the mailing list.
