Pay and Post Kiosk in Alexander Drive, Douglas no longer available to customers

Monday, 24 July 2017

Isle of Man Post Office wishes to advise customers that its self-service pay & post kiosk situated in Ellan Vannin Fuels, Alexander Drive, Douglas will no longer be available for customers.

The kiosk, which enabled customers to purchase stamps, pay utility bills and Government rents in addition to posting items of mail, has been housed in the premises since March 2011. However the number of customers using the machine has been reducing over time and Ellan Vannin Fuels (EVF) advised that the space it occupies could be used for their retail business as part of their refurbishment of the store now underway.

Isle of Man Post Office apologises for any inconvenience caused to those customers who use the kiosk, however it is looking to relocate the pay and post machine in an alternative venue in the surrounding Douglas area in the near future. Without the kiosk, IOMPO will be monitoring the usage of the post box located outside of the store before deciding whether it will remain there permanently. In the meantime, customers are advised to use the nearest available post office located in Windsor Road, Douglas or the pay and post kiosk located in the Sea Terminal, Douglas, both of which are approximately 2.3 miles away from Alexander Drive.
