Wednesday was also the launch of Isle of Man Post Office’s very first collection of variable value self-adhesive definitive stamps featuring the Three Legs of Man emblem (known as the Triskelion).

These new stamps are available from the Pay & Post kiosk at Postal Headquarters which the Chief Minister was only too happy to witness see be produced direct from the machine.

He also saw a demonstration of the welfare payments system ‘MiCard’ and learnt about its ability to be used for other Government services. Chairman Julie Edge MHK presented him with a framed set of stamps featuring the new Triskelion pictorial label stamps and the newly issued 150th Anniversary of the First Open House of Keys Elections stamp issue as a memento of his visit.
