Graham Cregeen MHK, Minister for Education and Children, has announced the areas his political Members will take charge of.
Ann Corlett MHK will have the delegation for inclusion, safeguarding and youth within the Department.
Lawrie Hooper MHK will assume responsibility for the Department’s estate of buildings and its relationship with cross-Government shared services.
Geoff Corkish MBE MLC will continue to have responsibility for the arts and to chair the Isle of Man Arts Council, roles he occupied within the last Government.
The Minister said:
‘My Department has a diverse and important range of functions that influence the Island’s economic and social wellbeing.
‘The Members will have oversight of these important areas as we work together to play our part in delivering the Programme for Government.’
