This news release is issued in respect of the restrictive measures directed against certain persons and entities associated with the Al-Qaida network.
Annex I to Council Regulation (EC) No 881/2002 has been amended with effect from 10 October 2015, following the publication of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 2015/1815 (“the amending Regulation”).
The amending Regulation reflects the decisions made by the UN Al-Qaida Sanctions Committee on 28, 29 and 30 September 2015 to add eighteen individuals and two entities to the sanctions list. On 28 September 2015, the Sanctions Committee also decided to delete two individuals from the list.
