A group of 14 students from Queen Elizabeth II High School recently enjoyed an afternoon bowling at Sure Strike Bowling Alley in Ramsey. The afternoon was a reward for the students from Year 7 to Year 10 who had gained high numbers of merit stamps for consistent hard work in the Spring Term. The trip was kindly sponsored by Sure Mobile.
The top points scorer of the afternoon was Erin Gilbert, with a total of 201 points over two games. Competition was very fierce for second place and Charlotte Bale eventually just pipped Nathan Harmer to the post, with 188 points against his 184.
Teacher, Mrs Kelly, who accompanied the students on the trip, said:
'It has been great fun, and the School would like to thank Sure Mobile once again for supporting this trip.'
