The Civil Service Commission regrets to announce that the Chief Executive of the Department of Health and Social Care, Mr Mark Charters, has left the position for personal reasons following completion of his primary objectives.
Interim arrangements are being put in place for the running of the Department pending the appointment of a successor to Mr Charters, who had been in post since July 2014.
Mr Charters hopes that the Island will support the new strategy for Health and Social Care that the Department will be consulting on over the coming months.
The Civil Service Commission can make no further comment at this stage.
