This news release is issued in respect of the restrictive measures directed against certain persons and entities in view of the situation in Syria.
Following the publication of Council Implementing Regulation (EU) No. 363/2013 of 22 April 2013 in the Official Journal of the European Union, the Council of the European Union has amended Annex II to Council Regulation (EU) No. 36/2012 ("Regulation 36/2012") with effect from 23 April 2013.
Annex II to Regulation 36/2012 lists the persons, entities or bodies subject to the asset freeze.
The amendments take the form of amending the identifying information for 182 entries in Annex II to Regulation 36/2012.
