ISO presentation

The Isle Of Man Companies Registry quality management system has been certified as complying with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 following a review by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance.

Minister for the Department of Economic Development John Shimmin MHK presented the Certificate to the staff of the Companies Registry and commented:

‘I want to congratulate the Companies Registry for achieving the requirements for ISO certification and I commend the entire team for their continued commitment and hard work in providing a consistently professional and high standard of customer service.

‘Gaining this globally recognised quality standard enables the Registry to appear on the UK Register of Quality Assessed Companies.’

John Wilkinson, Companies Registrar added:

‘Obtaining ISO certification is an important recognition of the Registry’s commitment to our customers and a demonstration of our willingness to grow with them.

‘The Registry is committed to creating a culture of service excellence and we have been reviewing all our management systems, processes and procedures to ensure that we can consistently meet the expectations of our customers, both now and in the future.

‘We are committed to continuous improvement. For example, we are implementing an integrated IT system providing online services that all our stakeholders will benefit from, promising further efficiency and effectiveness.’
