These models have a serial number that begins 00, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05 or 06 which can be found on a label inside the fridge. The recall follows the investigation of a number of serious fires in the UK which resulted in fifteen 15 people being injured and one person dying. The public should also aware that the LEC TF2304W fridge freezer model number TF2304W in white which was manufactured between January 2004 and October 2006 is also the subject of a safety recall by the manufacturers GDHA because of problems with the defrost timer.
