IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE - Bosch, Neff and Siemens Dishwashers

The Isle of Man Office of Fair Trading wishes to make the public aware of a potential safety hazard with Bosch, Neff and Siemens dishwashers batch numbers from FD 7901 to FD 8504 which were manufactured between 1999 and early 2005.

The warning follows the identification by the manufacturer of an electrical component within the machines which may overheat and in very rare cases cause a potential fire hazard.

Anyone with one of these dishwashers will receive a free in-home repair.

To identify if you are the owner of one of the affected dishwashers, you should do the following:

1. Find the model details and batch number which will be either engraved on the top or shown on a sticker on the left hand side of the inner part of the door (as shown below).
2. Check whether your batch number range lies within FD 7901 to FD 8504. If not your dishwasher is unaffected by this safety notice.
3. If the batch number does fall within the range, visit www.repairaction.co.uk and enter the information required or alternatively contact freephone 0800 561 0082.

This safety notice does not affect any other Bosch, Neff and Siemens branded appliances.
