The Isle of Man Aircraft Registry - Renewals & Changes

Renewal of Aircraft Certificates

The Certificate of Airworthiness is renewed annually. The certificate may be renewed up to 60 days prior to expiry without any loss of validity. Extensions are only considered in the most exceptional circumstances.

All other certificates may be renewed up to 30 days in advance and will be dispatched once the new certificates have been issued.

Please note that renewal and payment of aircraft radio licences should be arranged directly with Radio Licensing, radiolicensing@caa.gov.uk, telephone: 0207 453 6555.

Changes to Aircraft Details

Changes to aircraft details may affect the validity of aircraft certificates required for operations. For this reason, advance notification of changes to the Isle of Man Aircraft Registry is strongly advised to ensure potential delays to the operation of the aircraft may be avoided.

Please refer to RP 52 for further guidance and RP 48 for our standard service times.

Change of Contact Details

If you are the primary point of contact for an aircraft owner, operator, NATR or FOR, please notify us of any changes to your contact details (e.g. telephone, email address) to enable us to provide you with important updates when required. Email changes to contact details to us at aircraft@gov.im.
