Opening hours:

Monday to Thursday: 9am to 5pm
Friday:  9am to 4.30pm

Our aim at the JobCentre is to provide a high quality service to employers and customers by matching skills, talent and aspirations with the rapidly evolving needs of the local job market, maximising workforce participation and effectiveness within our vibrant Manx economy.  

Whatever your needs – whether you’re an employer looking to fill a vacancy, you’re unemployed, or you’re currently in work and thinking of changing direction – the JobCentre team are on hand to offer a range of bespoke services and assistance to help you on your way. 

Customer Services

If you’re looking for work or hoping to change job, our employment advisors can work with you on a one to one basis, to help with:

• job searches
• cover letters and applications
• CV
• preparing for interviews

The JobCentre also maintains strong links with the Army, Navy and Royal Air Force who regularly visit our offices as part of their recruitment programme. The visiting officers are keen to meet and talk to anyone who would like to find out more about the exciting careers and opportunities available by the Armed Forces. They also carry out pre-arranged interviews with people who have already made contact.

Disability Employment Service

The Disability Employment Service (DES)is also based at the JobCentre.

The DES team is available to offer advice and assistance if you have a disability or health problem that is likely to last for 12 months or more and which affects your ongoing ability to perform in the workplace.

Employer Services

The JobCentre helps employers by offering innovative ways of attracting the best talent for your vacancies - for free!

We offer website and social media advertising, host employer open days where you can meet directly with clients targeted through the JobCentre, and provide use of our meeting rooms to chat to or interview prospective clients in our convenient and neutral location.
