Public spirited individuals with a good understanding of the work of the Armed Forces are being sought to join the Isle of Man Government War Pensions Committee.
The Council of Ministers is currently inviting applications for members to serve on the organisation, which deals with a range of issues in relation to war pensions.
People who feel they have the necessary attributes and enthusiasm to take up one of these roles should visit the Isle of Man Government's Public Appointments page for further information.
Appointees must be able to provide an ongoing commitment in terms of their time, interest and attention and demonstrate the qualities that underpin public life – selflessness, integrity, objectivity, accountability, openness, honesty and leadership.
The application process is fair, open and transparent, and appointments are made on merit, based on a person’s skills and experience.
