Tradesperson’s or charity vehicle access permits

There are two methods of obtaining permits to allow tradespersons to be able to carry out their work.

1. Disc Zone Controlled Areas:
   
   
• Contact the Vehicle Testing Centre on +44 1624 627431 to purchase a book of scratch card ‘Tradesperson’s Access Permits’. These are available in cards of 10 for £60. Terms and conditions apply
  
  
2. Non-Disc Zone Areas Ordinarily Closed to Motor vehicles (e.g. Pedestrian Zones) 
   
   
   • Complete an application via the provided link
     
     
   • An initial fee* of £45 is required at the time of this application. An application reference will be given following application submission and should be added as a reference with your payment.
     *The Department reserves the right to adjust the fee if the application is approved for an extended period or for a location where significant disruption may occur.
