New for 2018, bus vannin is excited to launch the first of a number of initiatives under the Simply Go banner aimed at making traveling by bus much simpler for all customers.
The first product is an easy-to-use journey planner called Traveline.
Traveline can help you find the best route by simply entering in where you want to go to/from and at what time. The web-based system, which also covers the whole of the UK, provides all journey options available using the most up-to-date information from bus vannin.
Ian Bates, Head of Operations for bus vannin, said:
'Traveline is a great product as it negates the need for customers to look through long complicated timetables. This is particularly useful for people who don’t normally use the bus. Reading a timetable can be quite difficult for certain journeys, but Traveline takes all the hard work out of planning a trip.'
Jason Moorhouse, Member of the Department of Infrastructure responsible for the Transport Services Division, said:
