Biometric enrolment

Enrolment of biometric information

Rules for how fingerprints, facial images and biometric information are managed came into effect on 6 April 2015.

Since that date, all applicants, unless exempt, are required to enrol their biometric information consisting of fingerprints and a facial image (photograph taken of their face).

When applicants have submitted and paid for their naturalisation or registration applications, they will receive a letter from the UK Home Office. This will invite them to contact the Isle of Man Nationality Service to make an appointment to enrol their biometric information as part of the application process.

There is a fee of £19.20 for each applicant, which will be taken when you come for your appointment.

This may be undertaken, by prior appointment, at the Passport, Immigration and Nationality Office at Central Government Offices, Bucks Road, Douglas.

Telephone: +44 1624 686863 with any queries.
